Repo clarifies ranking weights and adds a Brazil election filter

What changed

A day after the big release, X added a note to the open-source repo: action weights multiply the model’s predicted probability of each action for a viewer, not raw engagement counts. The same update added Brazil2026ElectionFilter, which drops posts from accounts reported to Brazil’s Electoral Court unless the viewer follows them. The README says the account list was updated on 13 October 2026.

Why it matters for creators

Many “algorithm hacks” threads read the weights as a points table. They aren’t one. Use the repo note when someone claims a single report wipes out hundreds of likes.
