Video length limits documented: 20 min default, 125 min for Premium

What changed

X documented the media limits that apply to uploads and Post creation. Default accounts can post video up to 20 minutes and 8 GB; X Premium/verified accounts up to 125 minutes and 16 GB. DM video limits are unchanged. The limits follow the posting account’s status, not the developer’s API plan.

Why it matters for creators

If a scheduler rejects a long video, check the posting account’s tier first. A different tool won’t get past the limit.
